Normally, I am more private and don’t write about my family life on the internet. However, this year, I’ve decided to send a public thank you to my wife. Happy anniversary.
We’ve been married for 6 ½ years. We have two anniversaries. I can explain that at a later time if it’s confusing.
You are not the same girl I fell in love with years ago at school; you are the woman I fell in love with this morning. We don’t agree on everything; but I respect your thoughts, feelings, and dreams and want to know what those are. Thank you for always being classy, always making me look better than I truly am, and always putting up with me knowing everything.
You impress me to become better at all the things you deserve me to be. Thank you for infinite understanding and patience. Thank you for faith. Thank you for being what I need when I need it, even when I am unreasonable. For all the things I fall short at, I apologize. Even this writing seems so much more about me than it should.
